Beef and Vegetables Curry Bolognaise

A Japanese twist on a midweek classic.

250g beef mince
1 stalk (½ cup) celery, finely chopped
½ carrot, finely chopped
½ onion, finely chopped
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 pack of S&B Golden Curry Mix Mild 92g, chopped
4 serves (360g) yakisoba noodle, cooked through to packet instructions and drain
2-3 cherry tomatoes, sliced
parsley, chopped, for garnish


  1. Cook beef mince in a pan on high heat, breaking meat into small pieces and cook through.

  2. Add celery, carrot, onion and garlic, stir and cook until soften.

  3. Add 600ml of water and bring to boil. Turn off heat, add in the S&B Golden Curry Mix. Mix well and stir until the roux is dissolved and thickened. Return to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until mixture is cooked through.

  4. Plate noodles. Serve sauce over the top, garnish with tomatoes and parsley.
